Details of each article for sale, including the sale price, can be found on the online catalogue and are visible in every phase of the ordering process before concluding the sale.

Enoteca di Piazza guaranties that the products shipped are those indicated on the web site. On arrival the client should inspect the goods immediately. Should any items appear to be in error (vintage or product different than that requested) or should any items appear damaged in any way, the client is required to communicate said discrepancies within 24 hours of delivery in order to facilitate replacement within 30 days. At the time of delivery, should the parcel(s) appear visibly damaged or if the number of parcels does not correspond with the order, the client is advised not to accept delivery or to indicate on the shipping documents that the goods were “accepted subject to further inspection”.

The conditions of sale for each item are clearly visible on the website in every phase of ordering process prior to the conclusion of purchase. Enoteca di Piazza reserves the right to update item information, including the product definition and list price, at any time without prior notice. All prices are listed in Euro.

An order is considered final and binding only when the client has received a return confirmation email from Enoteca di Piazza. Upon receipt of said confirmation email, the client is obliged to review all details of the order and to communicate any errors immediately. An invoice or fiscal receipt (to have been specified during the ordering process) will then be emitted and attached to the shipping documents of the order. In the event that the client has chosen prepayment via bank transfer, Enoteca di Piazza requests a copy of the bank transfer which reflects the CRO number and the date of transaction via fax (+39 0577848037) or email ( info@enotecadipiazza.com ) within 48 hours (excluding holidays) of placing the order. In the absence of receipt of the copy of the bank transfer and unless prior arrangements have been made, Enoteca di Piazza will cancel the order after 48 hours. Orders will be processed once payment has arrived.

Deliveries will be made to the address indicated on the order. Time-frames indicated on our website are subject to availability of the items ordered and based on estimated delivery times indicated by the specific shipping company. In the event that an item ordered is not available due to a technical error, the client will be notified via email regarding any delay so as to confirm processing of the order. Enoteca di Piazza does not assume any responsibility for delays of delivery due to strikes or other transportation related issues which would impede the approximate delivery times indicated. Our shipping partners deliver during normal business hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm). For this reason it is advised to have the goods delivered to an address where someone is present at all times. If delivery is to occur at a business which has a day of closure, please be sure to indicate this. It is also recommended to supply a phone number in the event that the shipping agent needs additional information regarding delivery. If a third attempt at delivery is necessary due to the unavailability of someone to accept the goods or as a result of an error in the address itself, additional charges may be owed by the client. Enoteca di Piazza does not assume responsibility for any additional shipping charges due.

Referring to Legislative Act 185 of May 22, 1999, and Directive 97/7/CE relating to buyers protection in contracts at a distance; the client has the right to withdraw, for any reason, from the purchase without penalty within 10 days of receipt of the goods. Communication of withdrawal must be sent by return receipt to “Enoteca di Piazza, Piazza Garibaldi, 4 53024 Montalcino (Siena), Italy”, and can be pre-sent by fax or email stipulating that such communication is followed by the arrival of the notice by return receipt within 48 hours. It is not necessary at any time to divulge the reason for withdrawal. However, any input to help Enoteca di Piazza improve services is always greatly appreciated. Refunds will be made by bank transfer or by other means indicated in the withdrawal confirmation, and will be processed as quickly as possible not to exceed 30 days from the time in which Enoteca di Piazza was notified of the intent to withdraw from the purchase. The goods must not have been opened, with exception of packaging, and must not show any sign of tampering. ANY AND ALL SHIPPING COSTS FOR GOODS BEING RETURNED ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CLIENT. Enoteca di Piazza will not accept returning parcels as COD (cash on delivery). Enoteca di Piazza cannot be held responsible for any damages incurred during return shipment. Should goods appear to be damaged, tampered with, or in the event of loss, purchase payment will not be refunded. It is therefore strongly recommended that the client use a reliable shipper with the ability to track delivery and with insurance for loss or damage. The right to withdrawal is not applicable to commercial or resale clients.

Please note, during extreme heat during the summer months, we may hold shipments to your area here in our warehouse. If you feel this may be a problem because of a time sensitive package, please e.mail us to discuss other options. All packages are packed in our styrofoam containers to ensure proper delivery. We do everything possible on our end to protect our wine shipments from temperature-related damage. If you are concerned about the weather in your area, you may request a specific shipping date or you may choose a faster shipping method. Please note, the tracking numbers will not be active until the shipments are scanned by your Custom.

Enoteca di Piazza automatically adds insurance to each order placed online. This covers you from any package lost or damaged in transit.

You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase wine. It is highly recommended that you provide us with a business shipping address for best service. We will not be able to refund any shipping charges if your package comes back to us because there was no adult to sign for the wine or there was nobody to receive the shipment or there is a mistake in the address wrote in your order!

Enoteca di Piazza is committed to 100% customer satisfaction! If there is any problem with your order, we want to hear about it. Please note, any problems with the receipt of your package must be called in to us within 10 days of the delivery date! If you suspect the bottle is bad, please just put the cork back in the wine leaving the contents of the wine in the bottle. We can't take back any empty bottles! If you find any errors regarding type of wine and vintage, please send an e-mail to info@enotecadipiazza.com right away. We will arrange to have the package picked up and then send out a replacement package to you. For this reason, it is vital that you let us know of any error immediately to ensure the fastest delivery of your new shipment
